Description

Responsibilities Design and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.Own PostgreSQL database schemas, migrations, and performance.Develop business logic for contracts, invoicing, financial calculations, credit checks, and refinancing.Build and maintain integrations with CRM, credit bureaux, workflow engines, and external systems.Develop and maintain APIs and GraphQL schemas.Review code and ensure quality, architecture, and financial logic are correct.Build unit and integration tests for critical backend functionality.Work closely with engineering teams in Berlin and product/operations teams in Switzerland.Contribute to an AI-assisted, specification-driven development process. Requirements 8+ years of experience in Backend Engineering.Strong recent experience with Node.js and TypeScript.Mandatory: Experience in Fintech or Financial Services, such as banking, lending, payments, leasing, or insurance.Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, transactions, and migrations.Experience with Prisma is a plus.Strong understanding of Clean, Layered, or Hexagonal Architecture.Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations and APIs.Strong testing and code review practices.Experience using AI coding assistants or agents in production is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Professional English communication skills.Willing to work onsite in South Jakarta, Monday–Friday, 11:00–19:00 WIB.
