Infrastructure Engineer (AWS / DevOps / IaC / AI) Technology · Canada (Remote) · Full-Time $130,000 – $150,000 CAD Placed by Sage Recruiting on behalf of a confidential client. Our client is a technology company scaling its cloud infrastructure to support product engineering and AI systems. They're hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own deployment, automation, and reliability across their AWS environment. You'll work hands-on with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloads under the direction of senior technical leadership. The expectation: drive operational reliability and deployment velocity through automation, not through manual intervention. What You'll Do Deploy and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure across VPCs, IAM, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and Route53. Apply least-privilege IAM policies and secure network design. Own monitoring and optimization of cloud cost, performance, and reliability.Build and maintain modular, reusable Terragrunt infrastructure modules. Enforce environment segregation (dev/stage/prod), remote state management, and secrets handling. Maintain infrastructure versioning and change control.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments. Build validation, testing, and approval workflows with security controls throughout.Implement and manage GitOps workflows via ArgoCD. Own Kubernetes deployments (EKS preferred), including drift detection, rollbacks, and environment consistency.Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure for AI agent workloads. Monitor API throughput and infrastructure costs. Support secure integration of LLM endpoints and external AI APIs.Integrate infrastructure alerts and deployment notifications into Slack. Automate operational workflows through Slack integrations. Support identity and access management across Google Workspace, including SSO and security controls.
