The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PHP and MySQL/MySQLi, along with familiarity with modern web development frameworks and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges, maintain high-quality code, contribute to design and code reviews, and stay current with emerging web technologies. Candidates located in Colorado are preferred, but applicants from anywhere in the United States may be considered. ### Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP, MySQL/MySQLi, and related technologies. * Build and maintain applications using modern web development frameworks and tools. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve technical challenges. * Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-structured code. * Follow software development best practices and coding standards. * Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high-quality solutions. * Develop and maintain technical documentation for software systems. * Manage multiple projects and development priorities effectively. * Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and programming languages. * Contribute to continuous improvements across development processes and applications. ### Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 3–5 years of professional web development experience. * Professional experience with PHP and MySQL/MySQLi. * Experience with modern web development technologies and frameworks such as Laravel and Node.js. * Knowledge of database design and development using technologies such as MySQL/MySQLi and MariaDB. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. ### Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience working in a remote environment. * Experience with additional modern web development frameworks and technologies. * Strong interest in emerging web technologies and programming languages. ### Compensation Pay is commensurate with experience. ### Work Arrangement * Remote position. * Candidates located in Colorado are preferred. * Applicants from anywhere in the United States may be considered. ### Career Growth Sagentic Web Design offers opportunities for professional development and growth within a dynamic and innovative work environment.
