Backend Engineer (Java) at BairesDev As a Backend Engineer, you will design and develop services and microservices using the JVM ecosystem. You will serve as a key contributor to building scalable integrations and robust server-side logic with Spring Boot at the core of our technical architecture. What You'll Do Design and implement high-performance microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Manage data persistence and complex queries utilizing JPA, Hibernate, and SQL databases. Develop and maintain real-time data pipelines and messaging systems with Apache Kafka. Ensure code quality and system reliability through comprehensive unit testing using JUnit. Containerize applications and manage deployment environments using Docker to ensure consistency across the development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and optimize large-scale system integrations. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Backend development. Strong proficiency in Java 11+ (17/21 preferred) and Spring Boot framework. Extensive experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. Solid understanding of JPA/Hibernate and relational database management using SQL. Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and event streaming with Kafka. Advanced proficiency in English.
