Required
The Desjardins Group Data Platforms Services Department is part of the Data and Foundations Administrative Department and is mainly responsible for putting capabilities in place to support the shift to a data-driven Desjardins.
We implement Desjardins Group’s data platform (the essential foundation for supporting Desjardins’s data strategy) so we can ground our business practices in data and analytics.
Our Platform Ops team is responsible for storing, maintaining, connecting and securing the platform that provides DevOps teams with what they need to do their job.
As an Azure Data Platform Administrator, you’ll be rolling out and operating the new Desjardins Group data platform.
In a highly dynamic, agile multidisciplinary squad, the team is in charge of supporting the development teams with the implementation of environments, code deployment and shared production infrastructure.
You work in a cloud-based Azure environment, with targets built around Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC) and Continuous Deployment (CD).

Develop complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutionsAnalyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practicesWrite procedures, guidelines and development methods.
Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and consumersCocreate with partners to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordinglyIdentify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes.
Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidentsLead software package installations and testing and application rollout

What You Bring To The Table
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldA minimum of four years of relevant experiencePlease note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be consideredExperience with Azure environments (Compute, networking, analytics, security, monitoring, DNS, Kubernetes)Experience in IaC (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD and pipeline management)Experience managing Azure data platformsAnalytics experienceExperience in roles that require managing complex or urgent situationsExperience in fast-paced or high-pressure environmentsExperience managing multiple priorities with tight deadlinesMicrosoft Azure certificationsKnowledge of French is requiredProficiency with scripting in PowerShell, Python or a similar languageSolid command of infrastructure: Proxy, firewall, Active directory, DNS, Telecommunications (network interconnection)Knowledge of security rule configuration and implementation (RBAC, ABAC, Policy)Knowledge of agile environments: Jira, Confluence
