Azure Data Platform Administrator

Required The Desjardins Group Data Platforms Services Department is part of the Data and Foundations Administrative Department and is mainly responsible for putting capabilities in place to support the shift to a data-driven Desjardins. We implement Desjardins Group’s data platform (the essential foundation for supporting Desjardins’s data strategy) so we can ground our business practices in data and analytics. Our Platform Ops team is responsible for storing, maintaining, connecting and securing the platform that provides DevOps teams with what they need to do their job. As an Azure Data Platform Administrator, you’ll be rolling out and operating the new Desjardins Group data platform. In a highly dynamic, agile multidisciplinary squad, the team is in charge of supporting the development teams with the implementation of environments, code deployment and shared production infrastructure. You work in a cloud-based Azure environment, with targets built around Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC) and Continuous Deployment (CD). More specifically, you will be required to: Develop complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutionsAnalyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practicesWrite procedures, guidelines and development methods. Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and consumersCocreate with partners to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordinglyIdentify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes.
