About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join GrabJobs’ dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom software solutions that support our core platform and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with Ruby on Rails and/or Phoenix/Elixir, demonstrating a passion for building scalable and maintainable software. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess professional experience in Ruby on Rails and/or Phoenix/Elixir, with a strong motivation to enhance their skills and knowledge in these technologies. Prior experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential, along with the ability to translate client requirements into actionable development tasks. Candidates should demonstrate excellent teamwork and proactive communication skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively within Agile environments. Familiarity or interest in Flutter for mobile app development is preferred. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable participating in Agile ceremonies such as standups, grooming sessions, and sprint reviews. Flexibility to attend one multi-day team meeting and 0-2 client kickoff meetings annually within the continental US is expected. Responsibilities Write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code utilizing Ruby on Rails and/or Phoenix/Elixir frameworks.Collaborate closely with project managers, product designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate actively in project management activities to ensure client satisfaction and team productivity.Record and submit weekly time logs accurately, adhering to company standards.Contribute to the technical growth and success of GrabJobs by sharing expertise and participating in code reviews.Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Benefits GrabJobs offers a competitive compensation package aligned with industry standards, with salary bands ranging from $60,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and seniority—ranging from Junior to Senior Developer levels. This position is fully remote, allowing employees to work from anywhere within the United States.
