Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OnBase API Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Hyland OnBase, API integrations, and enterprise application development.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience building, enhancing, and supporting integrations between OnBase and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, .NET/C#, SQL, and document workflow/management solutions.
This role requires a solid understanding of OnBase architecture, document workflows, Unity/API integrations, and backend application development, and involves close collaboration with business, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support OnBase integrations with internal and external enterprise applicationsBuild and maintain APIs/services for document upload, retrieval, indexing, workflow actions, and metadata exchangeDevelop solutions using OnBase Unity API, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration toolsConfigure and customize OnBase workflows, document types, keywords, forms, and lifecycle processesCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders on document management and workflow requirementsIntegrate OnBase with ERP, CRM, core business platforms, and third-party applicationsTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide application supportWrite and optimize SQL queries/stored procedures for data validation, reporting, and backend integrationParticipate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and release supportEnsure security, scalability, and performance of OnBase-related integrationsMaintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support guidesWork closely with DevOps/infrastructure teams for deployments and environment support
Mandatory Skills
8+ years in Hyland OnBase development/integrationHyland OnBase certificationStrong experience with OnBase API development: Unity API, OnBase Web Services, REST/SOAP integrationsHands-on OnBase configuration: Document Types, Keywords, Workflows, User Groups/Roles, Forms/Unity FormsStrong programming experience in C#/.NETStrong SQL Server/Oracle experience with complex query writingExperience building and consuming APIs and web servicesStrong understanding of DMS, ECM, and workflow solutionsExperience troubleshooting, debugging, and production supportExperience with OnBase Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, and DIP (Document Import Processor)Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management support modelsExposure to document imaging, scanning, OCR, and records managementStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
