Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to support modernizing the SEC SEARCH platform. This individual will help bridge MCP server capabilities with the platform's user interface, transforming Excel-based workflows into scalable, intuitive web applications. The ideal candidate brings strong frontend development expertise, Python experience, and a passion for building data-driven applications in a collaborative remote environment. This is a remote position. Responsibilities: Develop responsive web interfaces for the SEARCH platform.Design and implement intuitive user experiences to replace existing Excel-based workflows.Integrate frontend applications with FastAPI backend services and RESTful APIs.Build data visualization components for financial positions, equity data, and other data-intensive use cases.Collaborate closely with backend developers on API design, integration, and application architecture.Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and optimal application performance.Contribute across both MCP and SEARCH platform components as business needs require. Qualifications: Strong background in Python, including command-line or advanced development experience.Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.Understanding of RESTful API integration and frontend-to-backend communication.Experience building data-heavy web applications and user interfaces.Knowledge of responsive design principles and modern frontend best practices.Ability to contribute across the full stack when needed.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with financial data visualization preferred.Knowledge of Python web frameworks preferred.Familiarity with data grid and spreadsheet-style UI components preferred.
