Process Engineer | Automotive Manufacturing | Career Progression We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer within the global automotive supply chain, producing precision-engineered components. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team in the UK. Relocation support available if you're not currently based near the site This is a hands-on, shop-floor role within a casting and machining environment. You'll drive real improvements on the shop floor running research trials and scrap analysis, project-managing new tooling and equipment, and working closely with production, maintenance, and purchasing teams to solve problems and push process performance forward. You'll have genuine autonomy to own projects end-to-end, backed by an organisation that invests heavily in developing its people What you'll bring: A full engineering degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering At least 2 years' post-degree experience as a process engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ideally metal casting, machining, or a similar mechanical production setting A sharp analytical mind and a genuine interest in process improvement Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
