OpenShift Engineer Location: Luxembourg Languages: English Responsibilities: Administering and engineering the OpenShift / Kubernetes platformMaintaining and improving the platform to support development and application teamsManaging namespaces, projects and associated platform configurationsConfiguring and maintaining networking components, ingress, routes and connectivityManaging storage solutions, persistent volumes and application secretsDeploying, configuring and maintaining Operators and platform componentsManaging the lifecycle and upgrades of OpenShift platform servicesImplementing and maintaining Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policiesSupporting integration with Identity and Access Management mechanismsTroubleshooting complex platform, infrastructure and application issuesMonitoring platform performance, availability and reliabilityIdentifying opportunities for performance tuning and optimisationSupporting application and microservices deployment patternsAssisting development teams with the onboarding and deployment of new workloadsEnsuring that platform configurations comply with security and operational requirementsContributing to the continuous improvement, stability and scalability of the OpenShift environment Profile: Proven experience as an OpenShift Engineer, Kubernetes Engineer, Platform Engineer or DevOps EngineerStrong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and KubernetesExperience administering and maintaining production-grade container platformsStrong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and core componentsExperience managing namespaces, networking, ingress, routes, storage and secretsExperience with Operators and the lifecycle management of platform services and componentsGood understanding of RBAC and Identity & Access Management (IAM) integrationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience analysing and improving platform performance and reliabilityKnowledge of application deployment and microservices architecturesExperience working with highly secured and business-critical production environmentsExperience working within a large-scale enterprise or highly regulated environment would be considered a strong asset.
