Healthcare Technical Design Engineer

Requirements Experience and Skill Set Requirements: Must Haves: Demonstrated experience as a technical design specialist expertly coordinating the design, develop and enhancement of complex large scale, high profile, high-risk technology solutionsExperience utilizing cloud-based technologies including containerization, orchestration and microservices Working knowledge of standards for health care data exchange, in particular Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) Experience in one or more languages: JavaScript ES6+, Spring Framework, Quarkus, Angular 9+, Angular Material, TypeScript, Node.JS, HTML5, CSS3 Experience working with security architects and privacy SMEs to ensure the application design and physical deployment meet the required level of security and adhere to data privacy standards Skill Set Requirements: Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience as a technical design specialist expertly coordinating the design, develop and enhancement of complex large scale, high profile, high-risk technology solutionsExperience utilizing cloud-based technologies including containerization, orchestration and microservicesProven ability to lead development teams to work on the definition and design of application software, hardware and network requirementsWorking knowledge of standards for health care data exchange, in particular Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)Experience overseeing the development of agreed-to solutions and implementation of those solutions, including designing, testing, installation and monitoring of the new systemsExperience in one or more languages: JavaScript ES6+, Spring Framework, Quarkus, Angular 9+, Angular Material, TypeScript, Node.JS, HTML5, CSS3 Experience with automated build processes in the development environment through CI/CDExperience with Agile software development process and VSTS/Azure DevOPSProvide technical leadership skills with an ability to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutionsConduct performance tuning and recommend performance improvement solutionDemonstrated ability to work with business analysts to translate the business requirements and functional specifications into an application design appropriate to meet the business and operational/IT needsKnowledge of best practices in design, build, development and deployment and their application to meet functional and non-functional requirements, adhering to GO-ITS standards and internal branch standardsExperience working with architects providing consistent object, data model, interface and application modelsExperience producing low-level design/development artefacts that show sufficient detail to allow developers to code and testExperience working with infrastructure, operational, deployment and technical teams to define the physical deployment of the applicationExperience working with security architects and privacy SMEs to ensure the application design and physical deployment meet the required level of security and adhere to data privacy standardsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the architecture team to create required architectural artifactsWorking knowledge and experience with the MS Office suite, Visio and SharePoint.
