The successful candidate will combine deep technical capability with strong operational discipline, supporting hosted workloads across at least two major cloud platforms while also working confidently with Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Linux. This is a hands-on role for an experienced infrastructure professional who can translate customer requirements into practical solutions, troubleshoot complex platform issues, automate repeatable work, strengthen operational controls, and contribute to reliable service delivery in a multi-cloud and hybrid environment. What will your typical day look like? As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and OCI, while also managing on-premises environments hosted on Microsoft Hyper-V. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux environments, supporting infrastructure performance, availability, security, storage, networking, identity services, and cloud integrations. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to understand requirements, evaluate technical solutions, estimate effort, and deliver infrastructure enhancements that balance reliability, security, maintainability, and cost. A significant portion of your role will focus on automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and developing CI/CD capabilities utilizing tools such as: TerraformPowerShell, Bash, and PythonJenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build You will help maintain governance, security, monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and compliance controls across hybrid environments while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. You will also lead the investigation and resolution of complex incidents, participate in on-call support rotations, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational stability. In addition, you will create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge articles. Enough About Us, Let’s Talk About You You are someone with these required skills, experience & qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, platform operations, systems administration, or a comparable technical role.Demonstrated expert-level capability in at least two of the following cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and OCI.Strong experience supporting hybrid environments that combine public cloud services with on-premises infrastructure.Hands-on experience operating Microsoft Hyper-V workloads and the supporting compute, storage, networking, backup, and recovery components.Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting expertise.Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise across common enterprise distributions.Proficiency with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code tooling, including reusable modules, source control, review, and controlled deployment practices.Solid understanding of cloud and enterprise networking, including virtual networks, routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, private connectivity, and network troubleshooting.Solid understanding of identity and access management, privileged access, secrets, certificates, encryption, system hardening, and security control implementation.Experience monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using cloud-native or third-party platforms.Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex infrastructure and platform issues across multiple technology layers.Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
