Job DescriptionThis is a hybrid role. As an AML Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring our customers behaviour for certain triggers. You will conduct detailed investigations to detect suspicious financial transactions and potential money laundering risks. Additionally, you will review customers and incidents where risk triggers are identified or internal thresholds are met. Reporting to our Brazil MLRO, you will be part of the International AML team. This team conducts investigations to ensure that the customer can legitimately support their levels of play and there are no clear risk factors in their profile. This requirement aims to reduce the business risk and impact of certain customers, as well as helps us to prevent the use of the proceeds of crime. Salary range for this role, based on experience level, is 65700 - 98500 BRL per annum. This is a new role and an exciting time to join our growing team in São Paulo! You Will: Perform source of funds/wealth background checks following Group protocolCollect documentary proof to build and maintain case files/profiles for transactions deemed suspicious and source of funds/wealthStay current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviours, issues, policies, regulations, criminal typologies, industry best practices, and developing trendsConduct investigations of money laundering alerts or transactions considered suspiciousEnsure timely and efficient reporting of transactions considered suspiciousEnsure record-keeping of data collected and analysed
