Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Architect and implement a modern Assessment platform using technologies such as TypeScript, React, React Native, Flutter, and GraphQL. • Establish and champion best-in-class engineering practices to ensure systems are modular, scalable, resilient, and flexible. • Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and quality metrics to maintain high engineering standards. • Lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and provide hands-on guidance across the engineering team. • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevSecOps practices. • Contribute to platform hosting, deployment, and runtime strategies, ensuring reliability and performance at scale. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • Expert-level proficiency in modern application development, including TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, React Native, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin. • Strong experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST-based APIs. • Deep understanding of database design and performance, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL and MongoDB. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and contributing to DevSecOps practices. • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant portion in senior, staff, or principal-level roles.
