Responsibilities
Lead backend engineering effortsDesign and implement robust data pipelines, APIs, and data unification strategiesEnsure high availability, scalability, and integrity of partner profile dataImplement operational batch-processing capabilities across the platformEstablish consolidated data views and access management for multi-unit business structuresIntroduce automated push notifications to inform authorized users about relevant operational opportunities and engagement campaignsBe passionate about Event-Driven and Microservices ArchitectureBe a collaborative member of a modern software team by owning, supporting and contributing to processes, standards, and designs alongside engineering teams in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and beyondBe product-oriented.
Develop software that other people want to use, define product features, participate in workshops with other product development teams and communicate the technical work of your team to other product development teamsOwn workstreams and track the progress you are making towards the wider goals of your team, and transparently communicate that progress to your team and Technology ManagerEnsure you and others continuously improve by proposing and implementing new processes, designs and engineering practicesTake responsibility for supporting your changes all the way through to proving that they work well – and continue to work well – in production
Requirements
5+ years of experience as .Net engineerHands-on experience with PHP Experienced in Modular API and UI patterns Experience in Event-driven architectureDelivering high-quality software projects, using established best practices, and being able to implement mechanisms to ensure the quality is kept during its lifecycleAble to work independently and collaborate to solve complex problems Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)Critical thinking and good communication skills
