Description
Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions supporting IT operations, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, deployments, and incident response across VMware, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Windows Server, and Linux Red Hat environments.Analyze existing IT processes and workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and develop automation strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, reliability, and service delivery.Develop and maintain automation scripts and solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and related technologies to streamline operational tasks, data processing, and system integrations.Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform, VMware Aria Automation, and Ansible to automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management.Recommend, implement, and continuously improve IT operational best practices while ensuring adherence to organizational standards, policies, and security requirements.Execute infrastructure and platform changes in accordance with ICT change management procedures, ensuring minimal risk and service disruption.Provide 2nd line support for IT teams, collaborating with 3rd line support teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles, while actively participating in projects, technical workshops, and cross-functional initiatives.Create Proofs of Concept (PoCs), evaluate emerging technologies, support continuous improvement initiatives, and perform other role-related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Bachelor's Degree (Level 6), with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional IT experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role or project environment.Strong experience in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash, with the ability to develop and maintain solutions that improve operational efficiency and service reliability.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform, VMware Aria Automation, and Ansible for the automated provisioning and management of enterprise infrastructure.Solid knowledge and practical experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere, and cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud.Strong expertise in the administration, configuration, automation, and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.Experience working in complex enterprise IT environments, collaborating effectively with multiple infrastructure, operations, and support teams to deliver reliable and scalable services.Good understanding of ITIL-based service management practices, including Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and the use of ITSM/ticketing systems.
