Senior Python Developer Location: Toronto / Brampton, Canada – Onsite (WFO) Contract: 12 Months, extendable Experience: 8+ years overall, with 6+ years in Python Mandatory Skills 6+ years hands-on Python development Strong experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django Strong experience in REST APIs, Microservices & Distributed Systems Strong SQL & NoSQL database experience — PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or Cassandra Hands-on experience with Azure and/or GCP Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git & CI/CD Experience with DevOps practices and deployment automation Hands-on experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or RabbitMQ Strong System Design, Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Ability to create technical documentation Understanding of security and software development best practices
