Front-End UI / Full-Stack Software Developer - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue.js/Angular
My fantastic client based in Worcestershire is currently looking for a solid Front-End UI / Full-Stack Developer to come on board on a permanent basis.
The role will focus primarily on developing modern web application front ends; however, the successful candidate will also be expected to contribute across the full technology stack, including back-end services, secure client-server communication and database development.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with coworkers to conceptualise, develop, and release software.Design, develop and maintain modern, responsive web application interfaces.Contribute to the development and maintenance of application back ends and RESTful APIs.Design, develop and maintain relational database schemas.Implement secure communication between application clients and servers.Test software and contribute to the development of automated tests.Investigate software defects and develop effective solutions.Conduct quality assurance to ensure that the software meets prescribed guidelines.Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
Full-stack development experience, including user interface design, secure client-server communication and database access.Proven experience developing modern, responsive web application front ends using a mainstream web framework.Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.Ability to understand, develop and maintain RESTful web APIsExperience designing and managing relational database schemas.Familiarity with Git source control and collaborative software development workflows.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:
.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Microsoft Azure and SQL.Proficiency in a server-side language or framework such as .NET, Node.js, Python.Working knowledge of SQL databases such as SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.Automated testing and continuous integration or delivery.Data analytics or machine learning.Internet of Things systems and applications.
This is a permanent onsite based role paying a salary of up to £40k per annum.
