Senior Software Development Engineer

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for a permanent role at a client of ours, this position would be fully remote. Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end full-stack solutions that meet scalability, maintainability, and performance requirements.Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.Monitor and optimize service reliability, performance, and availability to meet defined SLA requirements.Design component-level architecture while ensuring alignment with broader system architecture, technical standards, and engineering goals. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (React/Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C#, .NET Core)Strong experience in scalable API design, microservices, and server-side architectureProven ability to deploy and manage infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform or CloudFormationSolid understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)A passion for writing clean, testable code and delivering maintainable systemsFamiliarity with service observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and mentor others Nice to have: Leverage AI-driven development tools to improve efficiency, accelerate delivery, and maintain high-quality outcomes.Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to solve complex business and technical challenges.Proactively evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to address business needs and improve solutions.Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical strategy and solution direction.
