We’re partnering with a fast-growing scale up, product-led technology who are looking to hire a Front End Engineer to work on a brand new product they are looking to take to market.
This is a highly impactful, hands-on role where you’ll build and shape products that directly influence how the business scales.
We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our innovative and collaborative engineering team.
In this role, you will design and develop intuitive, engaging, and high-performance user interfaces that deliver exceptional digital experiences.
Working closely with Backend Engineers and the Product team, you will help build seamless, user-centred solutions that improve security, productivity, and overall value for our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop polished, responsive web pages and reusable components using React.Maintain and enhance website functionality, usability, and consistency with brand guidelines.Collaborate with Backend Engineers and product teams to deliver seamless integrations and improve the user experience.Gather and analyse user feedback to implement effective solutions that increase engagement and satisfaction.Translate requirements into functional specifications, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.Support Backend Engineers with development, debugging, and troubleshooting where required.Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility while following security and maintainability best practices.Keep up to date with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and React, with practical experience using HTML and other markup languages.Possess a comprehensive understanding of the web development lifecycle, from initial design through to development, testing, and deployment.Apply browser testing and debugging techniques, with hands-on experience using testing frameworks such as React Testing Library.Understand SEO principles, UX/UI best practices, and visual design fundamentals to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.Work effectively within Agile development environments, adapting to changing priorities and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced setting.Utilise cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to support scalable, reliable, and efficient application deployment.
Competitive salary depending on level;
Mid Level up to £65,000
Senior Level up to £85,000
