WHO ARE WE? We're looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join one of the UK's leading technology consultancies, delivering large-scale cloud platforms for critical Public Sector programmes. You'll play a key role in building and improving cloud platforms, driving automation and DevOps best practices, and providing hands-on technical support across development and delivery teams. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems and getting stuck into the technical detail! Due to the sensitive nature of the work, SC Clearance eligibility is required. DEVOPS ENGINEER ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE • Experience in DevOps or Platform engineering role, building and maintaining AWS infrastructure. • Large scale AWS environments • Container technologies e.g. Kubernetes, docker • CI/CD e.g. Jenkins, Github • Infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation • Monitoring e.g. Prometheus, Grafana • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Eligible for SC Clearance DEVOPS ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS • Design and build AWS cloud infrastructure and platform solutions • Hands-on with core technologies, such as Linux, Kubernetes and cloud technologies • Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using DevOps best practices • Help implement engineering standards and best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues • Work closely with development and engineering teams to support delivery • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements • Share knowledge and support junior engineers where required TO BE CONSIDERED: Please either apply through this advert or emailing me directly on laura.jackson@searchability.com.
