Java Developer – Berlin, Germany We are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a technically focused development team based in Berlin, Germany. This is a semi-urgent opportunity, and we are particularly interested in speaking with experienced developers who may be open to considering their next career move. Role: Java Developer Location: Berlin, Germany Salary: Up to €75,000 Language: English Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java.Develop scalable, reliable and maintainable backend services and applications.Work closely with software engineers, architects, product teams and other technical stakeholders.Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through to deployment.Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.Contribute to code reviews and maintain high development standards.Work with APIs, databases and modern software development frameworks.Support the deployment and continuous improvement of applications and services.Contribute to technical design and architectural discussions.Maintain clear technical documentation.Stay current with modern Java development practices and technologies.About You We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong commercial development experience and a good understanding of modern software engineering principles. Experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL and Git would be highly advantageous, alongside experience working within an Agile development environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who enjoy solving complex technical problems and working collaboratively within a development team. English language skills are required. German is advantageous but not essential. This is a semi-urgent vacancy, but we are also keen to speak with passive candidates who may be open to a conversation about the right opportunity.
