About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at ITPS Canada Ltd. This role involves building and maintaining a comprehensive Flight School Management System (FSMS), a full-scale ERP platform tailored for aviation training operations. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the system's architecture, contribute to its evolution, and help integrate AI-driven features to optimize workflows. This is a unique opportunity to work on a mission-critical system that directly impacts flight safety and operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various domains—including operations, maintenance, and training—to translate real-world needs into robust software solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of aviation training management through innovative technology and AI integration. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess a strong background in full stack development with proven experience in deploying production applications. Key qualifications include proficiency with PHP (Laravel), React, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and relational databases such as MySQL. Experience designing APIs and integrating with external systems is essential. Familiarity with AI tools and APIs—such as OpenAI or Claude—is highly desirable, along with experience in AI-assisted development workflows. Candidates should demonstrate a product-minded approach, ownership mentality, and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical domains. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with ERP or scheduling platforms, financial or procurement systems, Linux/Bash scripting, and familiarity with aviation or aerospace environments. Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing end-to-end features across the system stack, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture. You will develop responsive and data-rich frontend interfaces using React and JavaScript, while also architecting backend services and data models to support complex workflows. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into technical solutions is critical. You will own system quality, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability, and contribute to architectural decisions and tooling to improve development efficiency. Additionally, you will work on integrating AI capabilities into production workflows, creating intelligent scheduling tools, automated reporting, natural language interfaces, and workflow automation systems. Your role will also involve continuous improvement of the platform, ensuring it adapts to evolving operational demands and technological advancements.
