What You'll Do
Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools, and infrastructure for internal and external stakeholdersImplement and manage containerised environmentsOversee code release and deployment processesIdentify, manage, and maintain both new and existing software engineering tools and infrastructureDesign and develop automations to improve software engineering efficiency and reduce riskManage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelinesSolve interesting performance and architectural challengesApplication scaling, performance management and metricsMentoring and guiding other team members
Key Criteria
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience3+ years of DevOps experienceDeep CI/CD expertise (preferably GitLab)Hands-on Docker & Kubernetes management and deploymentKnowledge of application security testing (SAST/DAST) and system security best practicesExperience building enterprise applications, maintaining distributed systems, and monolithsPHP / Laravel background (highly regarded)Golang experience (highly regarded)Python, Java, or JavaScript knowledge (bonus)Telco industry & networking background (bonus)
Work setup:
Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00am–3:00pm PHT) with a flexible work arrangement.
