Job Description Summary The Nuclear Fuel Engineer will make immediate contributions to BWR fuel reload licensing and cycle management in GNF-A Fuels Engineering while being technically mentored by a team of high-performing engineers. In this role, you will provide innovative licensing and design solutions that ensure high-quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines. Additionally, this position offers direct utility customer-facing opportunities through deliverables, collaboration, and training. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Apply analytical methods, procedures, and techniques to solve complex problemsExecute analysis and design calculations to support operating reactor cores in reload licensing and cycle managementPrepare and present technical data to internal and external customers Document and communicate results of technical data generatedMaintain and/or exceed baseline project schedule and cost in the delivery of nuclear fuel reload engineering deliverablesShare information and promote open dialogue, including working effectively in a matrixed team environmentEnsure work is performed with high quality in accordance with NRC rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standardsPartner with Commercial Account Managers (CAMs), interface with customer technical personnel, and manage reload projects across the Fuels organizationEngage in continuous professional development Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or another science field from an accredited university.
