As Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack (m/f/d) at BIKE24 you are jointly responsible for the development and operation of services within our Acquire & Inspire Product Team.
Our “AI” (Acquire & Inspire) -Team is working with modern microservices to provide our marketing team future proof tools.
You will work in a product-oriented and cross-functional team who is using Scrum in its daily business.
Among 4 to 5 other developers, your Tech Leads, QA, and Product Manager you will enable BIKE24 to acquire users, delight them on their visit on our Webshop and drive empathy for our customers across BIKE24 teams.

You develop new features, integrate additional systems, and introduce new technologies to make our services better and, above all, future-proof.With great flexibility, you can impact the way our products are developed.Apply your experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) & Test-Driven Development (TDD) in your day-to-day work.You will be facing a new task sprint after sprint and learn about new topics.
One time you will work on our Online Search tool, and another you create new components for our CMS with our company-wide existing Design System.With pair-programming, coding on your own, or with code reviews, you will get better day by day, improve your own style of working in software, and share knowledge with the team along the way.You're open to using AI tools to optimize your own workflow and boost your personal productivity.
Your skills:
You have a passion for frontend technologies and UX and experience with coding and development best practices, specifically in rendering approaches.
You should consider yourself a fullstack engineer and have experience on the backend as well.
It's a plus if you've worked before in the e-commerce area.You will work mainly with TypeScript.
We also use React (specifically NestJS), NextJS, Git, Docker, and Terraform — if you bring experience with these, we would be happy to welcome you to our team.You work independently and reliably, driving larger initiatives forward on your own and engaging proactively with stakeholders.You've already worked on different software development projects and have shown in the past that you love connecting with your team and working together.
You shaped the projects instead of just closing tickets.To communicate in our international teams, you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.A plus, no must: some cloud experience, ideally GCP.
