Description
We're looking for a Founding Engineer to build the software that powers how M&A Advisors, Private Equity & Search Funds work.
You'll work closely with the founding team to turn complex deal workflows into intuitive software, build AI-powered features, and shape the architecture of our platform.
From early product ideas to production, you'll own what you build across the stack.
Your Main Responsibilities
Build and scale our AI-enabled platform across Frontend & BackendShape the technical architecture, security and engineering standardsTurn complex financial workflows into intuitive, reliable software
Your Tasks
Build and improve our B2B web application using Next.js, React and TypeScript in a shared Turborepo monorepoTurn product ideas and client feedback into responsive, intuitive UI using Tailwind CSS and our shared shadcn/ui component libraryDesign and develop backend services with Hono, Drizzle ORM and PostgreSQL, including APIs, relational schemas and database migrationsOwn permissions and data isolation across organizations and projects, from application-level access controls to PostgreSQL Row-Level SecurityOwn testing, deployment and monitoring, ensuring reliability and performance across the stackWork closely with the founding team to shape product priorities, technical architecture and engineering standards
Your Profile
Strong experience (2-3+ years) shipping full-stack products with TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, ideally in data-heavy B2B applicationsStrong PostgreSQL and ORM skills, with an understanding of secure, multi-tenant architectures and Row-Level-SecurityHands-on experience integrating LLMs into products through tool calling, streaming and RAGA good eye for UI & UX and the ability to turn rough ideas into polished interfacesAn entrepreneurial & problem-solving, high-agency mentalityStrong organizational & prioritization skillsExcellent communication skills in English and preferrably German
