We are currently looking for: Java Back End – Senior Requirements: We are currently looking for a Senior Java Back End to join a challenging project, taking a key role in the design and development of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices. Required Competencies: Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring Strong experience in backend software development Experience designing, developing, and enhancing robust software components Experience developing scalable and high-performance applications Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams Ability to contribute to technical decisions and solutions across multiple teams Experience supporting and guiding team members through knowledge sharing and technical expertise Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for improving software solutions Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices English – minimum C1 Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon Preferred Competencies: Microservices Architecture MySQL MongoDB Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) Docker Kubernetes Architecture Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong technical ownership and decision-making capabilities Ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively across multiple teams Strong communication and knowledge-sharing skills Proactive and solution-oriented mindset Ability to support and guide other team members Focus on scalability, performance and software quality Continuous improvement and innovation mindset Location: Lisbon – Hybrid Work Model: 3 days per week at the office Salary Range: €1.500–€1.900 gross/month Note: Includes all components: Fixed, Variable, Meal Allowance, Remote Work, and Benefits.
