Team Leader – Compute Infrastructure Engineering & Operations
We are looking for an experienced Compute Infrastructure Team Leader to lead the strategy, engineering, operations, and modernization of our enterprise compute environment.
You will be responsible for platform stability, automation, infrastructure transformation, operational excellence, and team leadership across virtualization, server platforms, and hybrid infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Compute Infrastructure strategy, architecture, and technology roadmapLead engineering and operations across VMware, Linux, Windows Server, and physical server environmentsDrive platform modernization, automation, standardization, and lifecycle managementEnsure high availability, performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readinessLead major incident resolution and support critical production environmentsManage infrastructure KPIs, SLAs, operational risk, and service governanceOversee vendor relationships, service reviews, and infrastructure costsLead, mentor, and develop engineering and operations teamsSupport cloud adoption and hybrid infrastructure initiativesDrive continuous improvement, Infrastructure-as-Code adoption, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure environments5+ years of experience leading infrastructure engineering or operations teamsStrong experience with VMware, Linux, Windows Server, and enterprise compute platformsHands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python)Experience managing critical production environments and major incidentsExperience working in large enterprise or regulated environmentsStrong stakeholder management and leadership skills
