We’re looking for an Embedded Linux Engineer who understands not just code, but how that code interacts with real-world hardware. Responsibilities: You’ll work on the onboard systems powering our drones developing and debugging software that interfaces directly with sensors, radios, and mission-critical hardware. This is a systems-level role where you’ll be expected to move fluidly between Linux software and the underlying electronics, solving problems that span across the full stack. Develop and maintain embedded Linux software for onboard drone systemsInterface with hardware components (sensors, cameras, radios) via protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CANDebug complex issues across software and hardware boundariesWork closely with hardware engineers to bring up new boards and featuresOptimize performance, reliability, and real-time behavior of systemsContribute to system architecture and integration across the drone platform Requirements: Strong experience with embedded Linux development (not just desktop/server)Solid understanding of low-level programming (C/C++ preferred)Experience working with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.)Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and understand PCB-level interactionsHands-on experience debugging real devices (e.g. robotics, drones, IoT, automotive, or similar)A systems mindset thinking beyond your code and understand how everything connects Nice to Have Experience with video pipelines, cameras, or RF/communications systemsFamiliarity with real-time systems or kernel/driver developmentBackground in aerospace, robotics, or defense systems Offer: Competitive salaryWork on cutting-edge drone technology used in real-world missionsBe part of a team solving complex, multidisciplinary engineering challengesHigh ownership and impact where your work directly affects deployed systemsFast-moving, engineering-driven environment
