Are you an observability professional based in the Netherlands who wants to deepen your expertise in Dynatrace while working across different enterprise environments?
At Atos, you will combine hands-on observability work with consultancy, performance analysis and some architecture responsibilities.
You will work with different clients, technologies and environments while continuing to develop your technical and consulting skills.
We are looking for professionals who are already based in the Netherlands and are comfortable working in both Dutch and English.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Observability & Performance Engineer / Consultant with hands-on Dynatrace experience, or a strong background in another enterprise observability platform and the motivation to further specialize in Dynatrace.
You will help our clients improve the performance, reliability and visibility of their applications and IT environments.
Approximately 10-20% of the role involves architecture-related activities, while the majority focuses on consultancy, observability, implementation and performance analysis.
You will work closely with clients and colleagues across engineering, architecture, project management, sales and data analysis.
What Will You Be Doing?
Design and implement observability solutions using Dynatrace to monitor and analyze the performance, health and behaviour of applications, infrastructure and business processes.Work with clients and internal teams to understand their monitoring and observability needsDefine observability strategies and monitoring approaches.Provide architectural guidance where required and ensure solutions align with business and technical requirements.Support the development of observability architectures for complex environments.Perform performance assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.Create and maintain documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams and operational procedures.Work closely with customers and stakeholders and translate technical findings into clear recommendations.Stay up to date with developments in observability, cloud, monitoring and performance engineering.
What are we looking for?
Professional experience in observability, monitoring, application performance management or performance engineering.Hands-on experience with Dynatrace is strongly preferred.We are also open to candidates with strong experience in platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic or similar observability technologies who are interested in developing further into Dynatrace.Good understanding of observability concepts, including metrics, logs and traces.Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working with clients, stakeholders and technical teams.Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English.Currently based in the Netherlands and able to work in a hybrid setup.Bachelor-level working and thinking ability in IT, Computer Science or a related field, gained through education and/or relevant professional experience.Relevant Dynatrace, cloud or architecture certifications are an advantage.
Nice to have
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Splunk or other observability technologies.Knowledge of scripting and automation using Python, Bash or similar technologies.Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps practices.Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.

You will join an international observability team with colleagues based in the Netherlands, UK & Ireland and Romania.
The team includes sales and presales consultants, project managers, architects, consultants, data analysts and engineers who work together to deliver observability solutions for enterprise clients.
You will have the opportunity to work across different client environments rather than being limited to one technology landscape or organization.
Depending on your experience and interests, you can further develop towards deeper Dynatrace expertise, consultancy, performance engineering or observability architecture.
Hybrid Working
We offer a flexible hybrid working model.
Depending on the client and project, you will typically work remotely combined with approximately 1-2 days per week at an Atos office or client location in the Netherlands.
