Job Code: 6384 Job Title: DevOps Engineer Work Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in DevOps Position Type: Direct Hire Languages: Arabic & English JOB PURPOSE : The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Client cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, automation tools, and operational environments. Reporting within the Engineering Department, the role supports reliable, secure, scalable, and efficient delivery of fintech platforms by assisting with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline management, cloud operations, monitoring, scripting, and operational support while working closely with software engineering, security, product, and infrastructure teams. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field. Professional certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, DevOps, or CI/CD tools are advantageous. Good working knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, containerization, configuration management, monitoring, logging, security practices, networking fundamentals, and release automation is required. Experience Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud operations, systems administration, infrastructure automation, deployment support, or a similar technical role.Experience should include supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools, Kubernetes or container platforms, scripting with PowerShell or Python, monitoring and logging, release deployment, incident troubleshooting, and operational documentation. Exposure to Azure cloud services is preferred. The role requires analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, communication, time management, and professional fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage. Key Responsibility Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Support: Support the provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring systems remain reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with engineering standards. Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management: Develop, maintain, and update Terraform scripts and configuration templates to support repeatable, controlled, and well-documented infrastructure deployments. DevOps and Deployment Automation: Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines using approved code versioning and deployment tools to support faster, reliable, and controlled application releases. Scripting, Automation and Operational Efficiency: Create and maintain scripts to automate routine operational tasks, improve deployment efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support consistent execution of engineering processes. Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Monitor infrastructure, applications, logs, alerts, and system health; support incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, deployment issue resolution, operational documentation, and service continuity activities.
