Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Backend Software Engineers to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
The role supports secure, scalable, resilient banking applications across digital, mobile, and internet banking channels.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Build secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performance banking applications.Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services aligned with enterprise API standards and governance frameworks.
Cloud & Security
Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure using cloud-native services and container platforms.Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API security, encryption, and secure coding practices.Work with relational and NoSQL databases across enterprise applications.
Delivery
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.Support release management activities.Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, code reviews, and CI/CD implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years building Spring Boot microservices.Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Microservices Architecture.Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API lifecycle management.Experience with Azure services including AKS, App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis.Strong understanding of design patterns, distributed systems, resilience, and fault-tolerance mechanisms.
