About the Role:
We are seeking a Blockchain Developer to design, build, and deploy Web3 components for Invesco's digital asset initiatives.
You will work on smart contract development, blockchain integrations, and tokenization frameworks that bridge traditional finance with the on-chain world.
This is a fully remote role where you can build enterprise-grade blockchain solutions at scale with one of the most respected names in asset management.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts and on-chain integrations for tokenized funds and digital asset productsBuild and maintain backend services (Java, Node.js, or equivalent) that interface with public blockchain networksIntegrate Web3 libraries (Ethers.js, Web3JS, Viem) into enterprise applicationsCollaborate with architects and product teams to design secure, scalable blockchain infrastructureStay current with the Web3 ecosystem—L2 solutions, new token standards, and institutional DeFi tooling
Who You Are (Requirements):
Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience (backend focus preferred)Web3 Skills: 1+ years of hands-on experience with smart contracts (Solidity) and Web3 libraries, OR strong personal/open-source projects that showcase your blockchain knowledgeBackend Stack: Proficiency in Java, Node.js, or similar backend frameworksCore Knowledge: Understanding of blockchain fundamentals—transactions, wallets, and basic cryptographySecurity Mindset: You write clean, testable code and care about security best practicesTooling: Familiarity with Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle; comfortable with Docker and Git
