City of Newcastle (CN) has two newly created opportunities for experienced Senior Strategic Planners with a background in, and passion for, affordable housing contributions and development contributions. As a Senior Strategic Planner - Contributions, you’ll play a key role in shaping Newcastle’s future through strategic urban planning and local infrastructure contributions planning and administering. Depending on business priorities, your focus may include developing and delivering planning strategies, proposals, policies and reports, or preparing and administering development contributions frameworks, and local infrastructure contributions. In this senior role, you’ll manage complex projects from concept through to implementation, develop project plans, identify resources, engage consultants and lead meaningful community and stakeholder engagement. You’ll also provide specialist advice, mentor team members and contribute to high-quality planning outcomes across the organisation.
