For more information, visit www.dxc.technology Intermediate Engineer Performs hands-on software engineering activities, including solution design, development, code review, testing, and production support, while providing technical leadership. Coordinates delivery activities, resolves technical challenges, and works closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions. Job Functions Develop software using a variety of tools including but not limited to: Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle Database, Oracle Weblogic, SOAP and REST web services, Vue.JS, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Red Hat Linux, and DevOps Support a team of software engineers in the development of software products and solutions, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support. Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Manage project tasks and assignments, helping to prioritize and plan work to meet project goals. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, working to resolve issues as they arise. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Willingness to participate in the application support and on-call roster is preferred. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Software Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role years of experience in software engineering Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies Strong programming and debugging skills Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role Other Qualifications Advanced degree in a related field is a plus Relevant certifications or training a plus We are an Equal Opportunity Employer DXC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome submissions from people from all walks of life.
