About the Opportunity:
The Staff Full Stack Engineer leads the design and development of subscription management and customer retention solutions, including AI-enhanced experiences used by millions of customers.
This role independently drives large-scale technical initiatives, mentors engineers, and establishes engineering best practices while delivering scalable, high-quality full-stack solutions that directly support customer retention and subscription growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and execution of large-scale technical projects with significant autonomy.
• Develop subscription management and retention features enhanced by AI for a large and growing user base.
• Design and implement AI agents that recommend and test subscriber retention strategies.
• Serve as a technical mentor and peer leader to improve code quality and engineering standards.
• Build and deliver features across frontend and backend systems using multiple frameworks and technologies.
• Establish and promote frontend development best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and continuous improvements across the engineering organization.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in senior-level roles.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex technical projects from architecture and design through production.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS.
• Experience designing scalable full-stack applications and developing backend services and APIs.
• Strong commitment to software quality, usability, and customer experience.
• Enthusiasm for AI technologies and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in technical discussions and cross-functional environments.
• Willingness to grow and contribute across the full spectrum of an engineering career.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and web accessibility standards such as WCAG Level AA.
• Experience with Node.js, Django, or Go.
• Experience designing e-commerce or high-traffic SaaS products and applications.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Starting base salary of $170,000 annually.
• Additional compensation includes stock options and competitive benefits.
