Role Description This is a part-time, remote Salesforce Developer role based in Brampton, ON. The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages that support client business processes. Responsibilities include configuring and enhancing Salesforce clouds, implementing integrations with external systems, and optimizing performance and security. The role involves collaborating with consultants, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and deliver high-quality, testable code. The developer will also support ongoing administration tasks, troubleshoot issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Salesforce environment. Qualifications Strong Salesforce.com development skills, including Apex programming and customization on the Salesforce platform.Proficiency in modern Salesforce UI technologies such as Lightning Web Components and Visualforce Pages for building user interfaces.Experience with Salesforce.com Administration, including configuration, security, user management, and workflow automation.Hands-on experience working with core Salesforce.com products (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud) and related features.Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, and data migration within Salesforce and external systems.Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or equivalent experience); additional Salesforce certifications are an asset.Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a consulting environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Compensation This is a part-time, task-based engagement. Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis according to the tasks assigned, project requirements, and agreed-upon hourly rate.
