About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Javascript Developer to join our dynamic team, contributing to long-term federal projects that support national security efforts. In this role, you will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and enhance web applications that meet stringent security and performance standards. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing UI/UX designs, developing RESTful APIs, and ensuring robust testing of front-end functionalities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly support government agencies and national interests, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and React. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.1-2 years of relevant work experience with increasing responsibilities in software development.Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in developing web applications.Experience with UI/UX design implementation and RESTful API development.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and agile methodologies.Knowledge of working in demanding, fast-paced environments responding to client needs.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to demonstrate initiative, creative problem-solving, and process improvement suggestions.Experience with React, Node.js, NestJS, and data-driven web applications is preferred. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members and senior personnel to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications in an agile setting.Implement UI/UX designs to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and data integration.Create and execute comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and security.Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for version control, continuous integration, and deployment processes.Respond proactively to client requests, providing timely solutions and updates.Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.Contribute to process improvements by recommending innovative solutions and best practices.Maintain documentation of development activities and technical specifications for future reference.
