Responsibilities
Work directly with the founder to shape technical priorities and turn customer needs into reliable software.Own features from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.Develop the Python services and data pipelines connecting customer sites, energy optimisation, and flexibility markets.Integrate commercial batteries, solar systems, HVAC, and other devices through manufacturer APIs and industrial protocols.Build customer-facing features and internal tools using React and TypeScript.Improve platform reliability, security, observability, and automated testing as GridVolt scales.
Requirements
Essential
3+ years of software development experienceStrong Python experienceExperience with SQL databasesExperience integrating REST APIs and messaging technologies such as MQTTExperience with Linux, Docker, production deployments, and operationsExperience with cloud deployment and monitoringA can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn, grow, and solve problems beyond your current comfort zone
