About the role We are looking for a Product Engineer to own major parts of the platform end to end, from data model and backend services through to the interface a customer actually uses. You will make early architectural decisions, set the engineering conventions for a codebase that does not exist yet, and ship features that go into production quickly. What you'll do Own product features end to end: data model, backend services, background jobs, and the user-facing interface Design and evolve the database schema, including migrations, query performance and data integrity Build responsive, well-structured front-end interfaces in TypeScript Use AI coding agents as a primary development tool, and take responsibility for reviewing and verifying what they produce Establish testing standards, engineering conventions and CI checks for a new codebase Participate in design discussions and review work written by others Requirements 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong backend experience in Go, or in a comparable statically typed language with a genuine willingness to work in Go Strong experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or similar, including schema design, migrations and query optimization Proficiency with TypeScript and a modern front-end framework such as React or Next.js Experience building systems from the ground up, including early architecture and data-model decisions Daily working experience with AI coding agents, and a clear approach to reviewing and verifying their output Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage your own scope and priorities Preferred Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications and data isolation Background in a domain where data correctness and auditability mattered Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment Experience with background job processing and queue-based architectures
