Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer 📍 San Francisco, CA — On-site, 5 days per week 💰 $200,000–$400,000 base salary + competitive equity 💼 Full-time 🛂 Open to eligible visa transfers, including H-1B and OPT About the Opportunity We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a fast-growing, profitable consumer technology startup operating at the intersection of technology, entertainment, culture, and real-money experiences. The company serves millions of users, processes billions in annual transaction volume, generates hundreds of millions in revenue, and is growing more than 10x year over year. Backed by over $65 million from leading venture investors, the team is now expanding one of its fastest-growing mobile products to the web. In this role, you will own the end-to-end web stack and establish the technical foundation for future web and Android applications. You will work within a small, highly collaborative engineering team where your decisions will directly affect millions of users. What You’ll Do Build and launch the web version of a rapidly growing consumer application within approximately 3–6 months Establish the architecture, standards, and best practices for the company’s web platform Own the full development lifecycle across frontend, backend integrations, testing, deployment, and performance Define engineering standards for React and potentially contribute to React Native applications Build and improve internal tools and dashboards that help teams operate efficiently and make data-informed decisions Partner with backend engineers to design APIs, data models, and scalable system integrations Create responsive, polished user experiences featuring thoughtful motion and micro-interactions Identify technical and product problems independently and drive solutions from concept through launch Help establish the foundation for future web and Android products What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional full-stack web engineering experience Deep production experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript Demonstrated ability to build and launch sophisticated consumer-facing web applications Experience owning projects and systems from initial architecture through production Strong understanding of API design, data models, application performance, and scalable frontend architecture High standards for user experience, responsive design, and product quality Ability to move quickly and work effectively in a high-ownership startup environment Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Willingness to work from the San Francisco office five days per week Nice to Have Experience with React Native or mobile application development Experience building consumer marketplaces, gaming products, fintech platforms, or transaction-heavy applications Experience establishing web infrastructure or engineering standards from the ground up A strong eye for design, animation, motion, and user interaction Previous experience at a fast-growing startup Compensation The base salary range is $200,000–$400,000, depending on experience and qualifications, plus competitive equity.
