We're now building Agile X app- our single operating environment designed to bring disconnected retail systems, processes and data together into one scalable platform. We're looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to take technical ownership of Agile X and help take it to the next stage. This is a genuinely hands-on role where you'll shape the architecture, write code and lead technical development, helping us build a platform that can evolve from connected retail operations into data-driven, AI-assisted decision-making. The Lead Full Stack Engineer Role: You'll own the technical direction and development of Agile X, combining hands-on full-stack engineering with architecture, technical leadership and delivery. Own the technical development, architecture and engineering roadmap for Agile XBuild and oversee backend services using Node.js and ExpressDevelop modern frontend experiences using React and ViteOwn and evolve the platform's AWS and DynamoDB data architectureBuild scalable, modular and API-first systems connecting retail operations, workforce, customer and performance dataIntegrate POS, inventory, workforce, customer and third-party systems into a single connected environmentManage engineering priorities, sprint planning, testing, documentation and releasesEstablish strong engineering standards across code quality, testing and deploymentLead and support engineers, contractors and external development partnersHelp evolve Agile X towards data visualisation, predictive analytics, automation and AI-assisted operational decision-making What's in it for the Lead Full Stack Engineer?
