The initiative will transform the existing correspondence system into a fully digital platform. Required Skills React 18, HTML5 and CSSASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs and LINQ (.NET 8+)Azure APIMAzure Service BusAzure Container Apps / JobsAzure DevOpsMicroservices and DockerSQL Server and Redis CacheGitDesired Skills & Experience 8–10 years of relevant technical experience developing software solutions.8+ years of .NET development experience, preferably within healthcare or regulated environments.Strong experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs and distributed systems.Strong React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end development experience.Experience designing and managing APIs using Azure APIM.Experience designing and managing complex, multi-stage Azure DevOps pipelines.Hands-on experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, APIM and Azure Service Bus.Experience developing .NET-based message producers and consumers using the Azure Service Bus SDK.Experience with Azure monitoring tools including Application Insights and Log Analytics.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design, OOP and relational database design.Experience with digital marketing solutions including campaigns, email, SMS and chatbots.Strong knowledge of the SDLC, Agile development, software security, QA/testing and risk assessment.Experience supporting production systems, incident resolution, monitoring and high availability.Knowledge of healthcare privacy/security requirements, including PHIPA, is an asset.Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR healthcare standards is an asset.CRM experience is an asset.Microsoft Azure or .NET certifications are an asset.Public sector experience preferred.Key Responsibilities Provide senior technical expertise and guidance to project and product teams.Design and develop full-stack applications using .NET, React and Azure technologies.Participate in requirements definition, specifications and solution design.Develop applications according to technical specifications, timelines and budgets.Perform code reviews and system-design walkthroughs.Develop technical, configuration and supporting documentation.Collaborate with QA teams on application testing and quality.Provide development estimates and review estimates prepared by other team members.Evaluate design alternatives and recommend appropriate technical solutions.Identify and escalate project/product risks.Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of engineering practices, patterns and solutions.Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on engineering practices and design decisions.Support production systems and application performance.Ensure solutions align with broader technology roadmaps and system strategies.Deliverables Technical documentation covering architecture, APIs and workflowsCode-level documentation and README filesDeployment and rollback proceduresDocumentation of known issues and resolutionsComplete knowledge transfer and supporting documentation before the end of the engagement
