About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Laravel PHP Developer specializing in eCommerce and third-party integrations to join our remote team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 8 years of professional experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using Laravel and PHP. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying web solutions that meet client specifications, with a focus on eCommerce platforms and seamless integration with various third-party APIs such as payment gateways, CRM systems, logistics providers, and marketing tools. The developer will work closely with project managers, designers, QA teams, and clients to ensure the delivery of reliable, efficient, and secure digital solutions that align with business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5 to 8 years of professional experience in Laravel and PHP development.Proven expertise in developing and maintaining eCommerce applications.Strong experience with API integrations, especially with third-party platforms such as payment gateways, logistics APIs, and CRM systems.Solid understanding of MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and database schema design.Experience with version control tools like Git, and project management tools such as JIRA.Familiarity with modern development practices including unit testing, caching, queues, and Laravel packages.Exposure to cloud deployment environments like AWS or Azure is advantageous.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Laravel (version 8 or higher) adhering to PHP best practices.Build and maintain robust eCommerce platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and high-performing.Integrate third-party APIs such as payment gateways, logistics providers, CRM systems, and marketing tools to enhance platform capabilities.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for smooth internal and external system integrations.Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to meet industry standards and client expectations.Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards.Troubleshoot technical issues, perform debugging, and manage system upgrades effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, designers, and QA to ensure timely delivery of projects.Stay updated with the latest Laravel ecosystem developments, security standards, and modern development practices.
