From our office in Ghent, we’re looking for a Senior Go Backend Engineer who’s eager to help evolve the way consultants and customers configure Miles Enterprise through modern, self-service tooling, while contributing to broader backend engineering across our platform. What You’ll Do... Design, build and maintain backend services, primarily in Go, with a strong focus on reliability, performance and maintainabilityLead the design and evolution of configuration management and self-service tooling for Miles EnterpriseWork closely with Product Owners, engineers and business consultants to translate complex requirements into reliable technical solutionsTake ownership of broader backend engineering challenges across the Miles Enterprise platform as you grow into the teamContribute to our global engineering community by sharing knowledge, improving development practices and helping shape how we build software at SOFICO What You Bring... Strong professional backend software engineering experience with Go. 2+ years of professional Go experienceSolid experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices and enterprise integrationsStrong experience with automated testing and relational databases, with a focus on building reliable, production-ready softwareAn analytical and ownership-driven mindset, fluent English, and an interest in using AI-assisted engineering tools throughout the software development lifecycle Earn bonus points for...
