About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in replacing legacy backend systems with a modern, scalable platform capable of handling millions of concurrent API calls. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. You should have proven expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is highly desirable. A solid understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, along with knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines, is essential. Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other engineering teams to define technical requirements and implement solutions. Own the entire software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Optimize system performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues. Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to technical documentation. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices throughout the development process.
