About The Role & Team As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in SITA’s Airports Portfolio you play an important role in technical design, development and maintenance of the Azure Cloud platform and related services (using existing and emerging technologies) to enable the modernisation and efficient delivery of services to our customers. We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our portfolio platform team - dedicated to developing and deploying our cloud solutions in the best possible way now and into the future. What You’ll Do Contribute to the design, planning and implementation of our Azure cloud solutions and services to ensure optimum cloud performance and reliability across our cloud infrastructure, building in continuous process improvement and CI/CD pipelines.Work as part of a broader team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution via automation.Create re-usable platform components for products, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines from development right though to production.Interface with developers, engineers, architects, Ops and Support staff to design develop and implement cost effective Cloud Solutions using IaaS/PaaS/SaaS so that it is flexible extensible elastic secure and reliable at large scale.Works within agile methodologies, following SITA coding guidelines and practices for all technical processes and documenting solutions.Support junior team members in the development of their skillset and provide support to Operational teams. Qualifications ABOUT YOUR SKILLS 3+ years Cloud Platform Engineering experience, designing, configuring & implementing infrastructure and network solutions in AzureStrong understanding of Azure networking (VNet peering, NSGs, UDR, NAT Gateway, private DNS, service endpoints), hub-and-spoke architecture, landing zones, and LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, load balancing principlesInfrastructure as Code using Terraform (module authoring, state management, provider configuration, CI/CD integration)Automating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (multi-stage YAML, self-hosted agents, automated testing integration)Production-grade Kubernetes/AKS operations (cluster lifecycle, Helm/Kluctl deployment orchestration) and container platform management (Docker images, ACR, secure image supply chain e.g. Trivy scanning)Creating application and infrastructure monitoring solutions, and applying Azure security & compliance best practices (network segmentation, private endpoints, WAF, RBAC, managed identity)Scripting and automation: PowerShell (module development, Pester testing), Bash, GNU Make, Git-based workflows (trunk-based development), semantic versioning and automated dependency managementPractical hands-on Azure skills (App Gateway, WAF, VNet, routing, subnets, App Services, VMs) and Active Directory / Azure AD / Azure AD B2CCreating and delivering Cloud Platform technology roadmaps, with ability to play a core role on complex projects through implementation and/or supportStrong communicator who thrives independently and as part of a team, quickly learns new technologies, and has a sound understanding of agile methodologies and practices NICE-TO-HAVE Testing & quality frameworks (Postman API tests, K6 load tests, Pester unit tests), and languages/tools such as Go/GoLang, Python, and Jinja2 Managing RabbitMQ clusters in Kubernetes, MSSQL/Azure SQL, and leveraging agentic capabilities for Cloud Engineering Azure FinOps expertise, Azure Certification, and previous application development experience What We Offer We’re all about diversity.
