Senior Product Engineer - React Native, FastAPI & AI

Role Description We are looking for a senior individual engineer to take ownership of an existing mobile product and bring it to a stable, production-ready release. This is not a rebuild and not a greenfield project. A substantial codebase, backend, and Figma product already exist. The objective is to understand the current baseline, preserve completed work, close the remaining gaps, stabilize integrations, and take the product through final release. Scope includes: * React Native mobile app — iOS & Android * Python / FastAPI backend and existing microservices * API, database, authentication and permissions integration * AI Agent / RAG / Tool Calling connected to real backend actions * Admin and Provider/Business flows * Arabic / English, RTL / LTR * Light / Dark parity and missing UI states * End-to-end QA and regression fixing * TestFlight, Google Play and App Store release preparation * Resolving technical store-review issues until release-ready * Cleaning and closing the existing Figma file: canonical screens, states, flows and prototype links — without unnecessarily redesigning completed work We specifically want someone who can own the whole closure process, not only one technical layer. You should have proven experience with: * Production React Native applications * Personally shipping apps through TestFlight / App Store / Google Play * Python / FastAPI production systems * Existing codebase takeover and debugging * AI agents connected to real APIs rather than chat-only demos * Git-based controlled delivery and small reviewable commits * Figma handoff / product-flow understanding When applying, please include: 1. Individual senior freelancers preferred over agencies. The goal is simple: take an existing product that is already substantially built and close the remaining work properly without breaking what already works.
