Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in the Santiago Metropolitan Area.
The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support Regcheq’s SaaS platform.
Daily responsibilities include building and managing CI pipelines, improving deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability and performance.
The role involves collaborating with software development teams to streamline releases, managing Linux-based environments, and applying infrastructure as code practices for consistent, reproducible environments.
The DevOps Engineer will also monitor systems, respond to incidents, and contribute to security and compliance best practices.
Qualifications
Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Proficiency in Software Development practices, scripting, and collaboration with engineering teams on application delivery.Experience with Continuous Integration and related tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to automate builds, tests, and deployments.Solid System Administration and Linux skills, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments.Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.Familiarity with security, compliance, and observability practices, including logging, metrics, and alerting.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with clear communication and problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
